Health Specialist Consultant-Me & Health Info.

I'm studying to become a Certified Health Specialist, and I have been asked by a Vitamin Shoppe employee to do some consulting at their health fair this Saturday. My courses include Nutritional Herbology, Nutritional Supplements, Aromatherapy and so forth. It's an exciting program, and I've already finished one course. I'm happy to say, that I got an "A" in my Nutritional Herbology course, yay. I still got a few more courses to go, but it's worth it. Can't wait to graduate.

Have any of you ever shop at Vitamin Shoppe? or GNC, I love their products.
I'm also curious about how do any of you feel about prescription drugs vs. Natural Alternative medicine.

Here's an experience I've had: I was taking some antibiotics for a UTI and the first prescription wasn't doing me any good. The doctors prescribed a stronger drug, still didn't help all of sudden people, I was already on 4 different antibiotics. They still didn't help. The antibiotics was covering the symptoms but not the source of my health problem. My mother you know from the old school and studied about herbs and nutritional supplements told me to take probiotic www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Probiotic Whlie the antibiotic was killing the bad bacteria in my body, it was also killing out my good ones to, thus making me sicker. The probiotic has live good bacteria, and by taking that I was putting good bacteria in my body, thus fighting off the and killing the bad ones. I also needed a good cleansing and detox. I've since then recover and thank God has not had another UTI flare up.

For more information on Natural Alternative medicine and information of herbs, nutritional supplement, and aromatherapy go here: www.westernbotanicals.com

Stay Healthy everybody, I'm trying to work on my health-it's not easy, but again, it's worth it.

Peace & Love everybody,

Treasure Ann

The Cats Out Of The Bag

This was my first Swap and Andrea at www.andrearhouse.blogspot.com was gracious to host a Valentine's Day Swap. My swap partner is the wonderful Aubrey at www.aubsfamfive.blogspot.com. I had to borrow her pictures because, smarty me forgot to take pictures of what I sent before I packaged them up. Thanks Aubrey for letting me borrow. :)

Now that she has recieved them, I can let the cat out of the bag. I've visited her blog and she said that she really loves the things she got. I'm so glad. "Your welcome" Aubrey, I hope you continue to enjoy them. I can't believe I've been missing out on these fun-filled swaps, it's been a blast. Happy Valentine's Day Aubrey!!

She said that mine is already on it's way, so I'll post pics of what I got when it comes. On Aubrey's blog she asked what is anyone's plans for Valentine's Day. So I'm copy catting her with the same question she asked her readers, I'm going to ask mine. What are your plans for Valentines? As for me I'm planning to throw a Valentines Party with family and friends. Then I'm going to pass out some goodie sweet treats to all my guests.

Have a good night everyone. Remember to always have these things in your heart...

Peace & Love,

Treasure Ann

Where Do I Start?

I have so many things going on. I don't know where to begin and finish. Here's a few going ons and projects I have been active in.
*Crochet art project
*Reading at least 2 books
*School of course, studying to be a certified Health Specialist
*Art Projects
*Writing and working on a book-make that 2 (An autobiography of my life and an Arts & Craft book with memories of my childhood)

Where do I start? Can anyone give any suggestions. Much appreciated. It seems I have too much on my plate.

Peace and love.

I'm Going Wholesale

O.K. I'm not wholesaling on dogs. No, I just wanted to show you my pooh bear. Well he's really not a pooh bear, but that's what my nickname is for Him. He's actually my sons dog. His real name is Static. He's a Red Nose pit mixed with American bull. He's a big fellow but oh he's so sweet. He reminds me of Clifford the Big Red Dog, because he was so little when we got him and he grew so fast and big. I guess love does make little things grow. My brother gave him to my son for his birthday. So that's the other member of our family.
Now, for the I'm going wholesale bit, is about an offer made to me. A business owner wants to buy some of my custom made/handmade jewelry to sell in their shop. How exciting I am. I will be wholesaling my charm bracelets and men's necklaces. So I've got a lot of work to do ahead of me.
Great way to start the New Year off right, eh. The bracelet above has dolphins on it. I love dolphins and they are one of my favorite things in the world I admire.

Here is my other charm bacelets with a blue and red stone. This one is very elegant, and it's nice for going out to an evening dinner.

Here there are snugged away in jewelry boxes. I'm going to try to have them ready to be put in the owners shop at least by this Friday coming.
Here's a new hobby, I wanted to try. Baking, frosting and decorating sugar cookies. My inspiration of course is L at A Dozen Eggs. These are not as nearly or close to beautiful like A Dozen Eggs. I'm only practicing though.

So far I love it, and L you really like what you do. Making the cookie dough, chilling it, rolling it, baking it, and decorating these sugar cookies is a lot of work. Not to mention making the batches of icing. It really is a lot of work. They are fun to make, and you get anxious about seeing how the cookies will turn out.

I made the traditional sugar cookie dough, but instead of putting in vanilla extract, I wanted to try something different. I used lemon extract instead. I like lemon, so for some you may have to acquire a taste for it. But I thought it tasted pretty good. I'll be practicing more of course, and hopefully my cookies will begin to look a litttle bit better.

I'm off to do some reading.

Enjoy life,

Treasure Ann

A New Hobby

I have buying scrapbooking supplies and paper because I want to begin a new hobby or new craft. Now I have all these materials and I have no idea where to start. I don't know how to scrapbook, but I figure I try it. I wonder if I have a problem. I guess you say what do I mean. Well everytime I see a something relating to craft via t.v., computer, or just some one elses work in person-I feel like I have to get the supplies and try it. The problem is, when I purchase the supplies it sits right in the bag or it doesn't get any further than my dining room table. I'll start on a project for a little while and then stop, and I hardly get back to it for a long time. I don't know, I buy these things on impulse just to buy it and I wonder if I may have attention deficit craft dis-order. Am I trying to fill something I'm missing and buying craft supplies to fill it? I need opinions and suggestions. I'm having a hard time focusing on one craft item at a time. I don't complete one project before I start on another. What is that? The only thing I probably would finish out of my crafting is completing crocheted projects like blankets or shawls.

Also can anyone give me tips on what I should start on first with the scrapbooking. for instance, should I start on cards, book marks, or just a simple scrapbook.

What should I do? Oh yeah, I'm still looking forward to those candy recipes. Thanks in advance for it.

Happy crafting & voting,

Treasure Ann

Sunday Ride

I love a Sunday ride. They are so relaxing, and brings you a sense of peace. Today my family
and I went riding today and got some ice cream. It was really nice. I got this big sundae with pineapple, candied walnuts, whip cream, and cerry on top with of course vanilla ice cream. It was so delicious, and like I said in a big cup. I couldn't even eat it all. I had to give the rest to my son. While we ate our ice cream/sundae, we took a little ride to the board walk and watched the boats glide across the water. I had a great time. The seagulls also graced us with a visit and provided such a serene view. Afterwards we did a little shopping. Picked up some neccessities and wants of course. I'm always picking up craft items. I love to craft. Sunday's should be spent in peace and harmony with good things to do, even if it's just sitting on your porch and enjoying what God created.

How do you spend your Sunday's? What are some of the things you like to do? Share, maybe we can switch up our routine of what we learn from each other and try something different.

Take care everybody

Happy crafting & crocheting.
